    What To Do This Weekend April 13 – April 15

    Yes we know the weather is up, down, and all over the place but the forecast past Friday isn’t terrible so we hope you get out and enjoy some of these events! It is technically spring!

    CCHS and Thunder Basin both have things going on this weekend!

    CCHS presents their spring musical of “Grease” tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Shows will be held in the CCHS auditorium. Showtime tonight is 7:00, tomorrow night is 7:00 and a matinee show will be featured on Sunday at 2:00.

    CCHS girl’s soccer will be in Sheridan on Saturday for two games. CCHS boy’s soccer will play at Thunder Basin highschool at 10:00 & 12:00 on Saturday!


    Thunder Basin presents William Shakespeare’s play “The Comedy of Errors” tonight and tomorrow night. The show starts at 7:00 in the Thuder Basin auditorium both nights.

    Thunder Basin girl’s soccer hosts Sheridan tonight at 4:00 & 6:00. Thunder Basin boy’s soccer will travel to Sheridan tonight for two games.


    Cam-Plex is moderately busy this weekend:

    Friday night Cam-Plex is hosting an artist’s reception for local artist Sarah Ferguson. This event takes place from 5-7 PM in the gallery inside the Heritage Center. Event Page!

    Also at the Heritage Center on Friday night, Cam-Plex presents “The Great Gatsby” on stage. Tickets are still available. The show starts at 7 PM. Get Tickets!

    On Saturday the Cam-Plex will again host their indoor garage sale! Doors open at 9 AM and close at 3 PM. Get there early for the best selection! Vendor space was still available last we knew. Event Page

    Also on Saturday at the Heritage Center from 2-3 PM, the Dance Outreach series will continue. Registration is open to all ages and is free. This outreach series features Contemporary Fusion Instructor Joshua Henry. Prior registration is not required but they highly recommend it. Event Page

    On Sunday at the Heritage Center the Powder River Symphony will end their season with their performance “Spring Gems” – the show begins at 3:00. Tickets are still available. Event Page 

    Elsewhere in town:

    The Campbell County Senior Center will be hosting a dance on Friday at 7 PM featuring music from the Bighorn Big Band. Doors will open at 6:30 PM

    Be sure to check their Facebook page in case the event is cancelled for weather.


    Head to the Campbell County Public Library on Saturday at 1:30 PM for the Library Associations 7th annual Cupcake Wars! $5 admission allows you to sample and vote for your favorites! Event Page

    Saturday night the Women’s Resource Center presents their “Blast From the Past” auction, dinner and dance at the Gillette College Technical Center. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are still available. See their Facebook page for information.
